River Cabin (6 person occupancy - minimum 6)  Tucked in among Cottonwoods and hardwoods along the bank above the Smith Fork, River Cabin has an incredible view of the Mendicant Ridge of the West Elk Mountains, one of the lower ponds and the river as well. The River Cabin retains the look and traditional styling of the ranch’s early log buildings. There is a vintage feeling throughout with the antiques and furnishings, the old-style, corner fireplace of river rock, screened-in porch and wrap-around deck overlooking the river. Depending on the make-up of the group or family, the cabin accommodates a minimum of 6 to a maximum of 10 guests – ideal for a large family or three couples.There are three bedrooms, each with private baths; one is a large semi-enclosed loft with options for three or four twin beds or a King and twin. The screened-in porch has a built in settee for sleeping, if desired.
