Bear RoomThere are four private cabins on the ranch, each with its own unique feeling of cozy, rustic elegance, furnished with antiques and western art. Three were built in the early to mid 1900's from locally-cut logs and timber, and each has been carefully restored with its own unique character. In common, the three have terrific views from every window, roomy porches, and outdoor decks with rustic log posts and railings. The exposed-beam, vaulted interiors of all three cabins are cozily heated with old-style, gas-burning woodstoves, and the bathrooms are all decorated with fine tile work and classic fixtures.

Oak Cabin
(4 person occupancy - handicapped accessible)
Oak Cabin (actually built of cedar logs) is both the oldest and the largest of the three original guest cabins. Its interior is decorated with rustic, board & batten wainscoting, and it has a beautiful, spacious bathroom with a large, slate-tiled shower. It has two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed, the other with two twin beds (which can be made into a king), and an east-facing deck with magnificent views up the Smith Fork Valley into the heart of the West Elk mountain range.

Aspen Cabin
(4 person occupancy)
Aspen cabin with its period bead-board wainscoting, is decorated with western antiques and lodge pole pine furniture made by an area craftsman. It has a southern facing deck with splendid views of Saddle Mountain and the West Elks. There are two bedrooms , one with a queen bed and the other with bunk beds – ideal for children.

Living Room
Spruce Cabin
(2 person occupancy)
Spruce Cabin has the most rustic interior of our cabins. It has exposed, chinked log walls and delicately white-washed ceiling and upper walls. With a queen-size bed in its one roomy bedroom, it has a very spacious feel and its south-facing deck looks out over the Smith Fork River and the great expanse of Saddle Mountain.

*All three cabins can accommodate an extra child or adult in the living room on a sleep sofa.

River Cabin Living Room
River Cabin
(6 person occupancy - minimum 6)
River Cabin Tucked in among Cottonwoods and hardwoods along the bank above the Smith Fork, River Cabin has an incredible view of the Mendicant Ridge of the West Elk Mountains, one of the lower ponds and the river as well.
