To our way of thinking, the culinary experience on vacation in the Colorado Rocky Mountains is as important as the awesome scenery and activities at the ranch. Our aim is to make each meal during your ranch vacation exceptional, whether it be breakfast on the trail, lunch on the deck of a cabin, a picnic at riverside, or dinner in the open air pavillion.

Meals at Smith Fork vacation dude Ranch are far more than an occasion for replenishing the energy spent in an active day. We try to make every meal at our Colorado Dude Ranch a relaxing event that embellishes your time spent with us.

Our chef prepares delectable cuisine that features local ingredients such as game meats, lamb, poultry, trout and Western Colorado's excellent fresh produce and fruits. The wonderfully prepared natural and organically grown foods, the selection of truly special wines and beverages, the friendly gracious service, all come together in a splendid atmosphere, indoors and out at the Colorado Guest ranch.

In Western Colorado, the freshest meats, fish and wild game are in abundance, and some of the best fruits and vegetables in the country are grown nearby. The Hodgson family's long standing interests and relationships in the wine industry have yielded a private cellar of superior wines from the U.S. and abroad - more than 250 selections. We recommend trying as many as you'd like during your dude ranch holiday.
