More About Your All-Inclusive Signature Experience

Access to all ranch recreational facilities:

  • Go fly fishing on three private miles of the Smith Fork of the Gunnison, Second Creek
  • Take one of our specialized mountain bikes for a spin up our dirt road and onto some mountain trails
  • Swim off the floating dock at the hillside swimming pond
  • Play a round or two of horseshoes or corn hole
  • Plant and pick vegetables and fruits in our organic farmstead garden

Two, half-day guided outdoor activities per person every day of your stay:

  • Begin with an orientation ride, where you’ll meet your horse and learn from our expert wranglers
  • Saddle up for a guided horseback riding on ranch trails and up into the surrounding mountain wilderness
  • Hone your skills during a fly casting clinic and fly fishing experience with our guides; top-of-the-line equipment provided
  • Receive arena riding instruction (necessary in preparation for working cattle and team penning)
  • Enjoy equine events in our 250-foot arena: Working cattle, group riding instruction, and team penning (available on scheduled days)
  • Hone your skills during a fly casting clinic and fly fishing experience with our guides; top-of-the-line equipment is provided
  • Go on a private ½ day guided fly fishing adventure
  • Take an all-day ride into the wilderness for back country fishing in pristine mountain drainages
  • Shoot Sporting Clays at our world-class five-stand shooting platform, featuring renowned Beretta shotguns, a flurry trap, 3 harrier traps and vistas, with instruction from our expert guides
  • Take aim with a long bow at our archery range and six-station adventure course, with instruction provided by our expert guide
  • Go on a guided mountain biking trek on ranch and National Forest trails; top quality bikes and equipment provided. Mountain bike challenge course available as well
  • Hike gorgeous Rocky Mountain trails accompanied by a guide

Ranch-organized events throughout the week:

  • Go on a morning horseback ride stopping along the way at a trailside camp for breakfast cooked over an open fire
  • Ride your horse up to Vista Mountain, stopping for hors d’oeuvres, wine, camaraderie and spectacular views
  • Gather for a weekly campfire with roasted s’mores and staff sing a long
  • Dance or tap your feet to live music in our open-air pavilion

Half-day guided youth adventures for children ages 6-11 (available through August 27):

  • Storytelling in authentic Ute Indian teepees
  • Climbing the multi-level tree house
  • Learning to ride horses and care for them
  • Developing new skills such as archery or mountain biking
  • Scavenger hunts, water balloon games, ultimate football, soccer, swimming in the pond and hiking
  • Nature walks learning about the flora and fauna of Colorado
  • Arts and crafts in the kids tents… and much more!

Note: Half-day morning adventures are from 9 a.m.-noon; half-day afternoon adventure are from 2-5 p.m. Nightly kids dinners are available at 6 p.m.  All children are returned to their parents by 8:30 p.m. or babysitting rates at $18 per hour will be applied.
