Smith Fork Ranch

Western Colorado
Ranch Experience

If you want to spend some time in a private corner of the authentic Rocky Mountain West, with first rate fly fishing, horseback riding and hiking, the Smith Fork Ranch is for you. Best of all you can have all this in a quiet, stunningly beautiful setting with superb cuisine and a wine cellar to match. Our ranch straddles three miles of the Smith Fork River valley and is surrounded by over a million acres of uninhabited national forest and wilderness. Towering mountains filled with aspens and pines, high mountain meadows, lakes and streams filled with wild flowers, wildlife and wild trout make a breathtaking environment.

There is a comfortable feeling of rustic elegance throughout the ranch. Breathtaking sunsets, delicious dinners, live western music, after dinner talks with artists and naturalists, fly tying demonstrations in the lodge, songs and stories about life in the west while sitting around the fire as the night cools down,….then to sleep in the most comfortable, cozy beds you can imagine. We doubt you’ll want to leave.

Rates Include:

  • Six nights lodging in refined, rustic style accommodations with magnificent views
  • Superb cuisine served at all ranch meals – including campfire breakfast, riverside  barbeque, trailside picnics, and gourmet farm-to-table cuisine with fine dining service.
