Cowgirl Adventure Retreat

Howdy Cowgirl!
As one free spirited woman to another, I invite you to our annual Cowgirl Retreat! Whether you are seeking adventure to up-root from your daily grind, to get your hands dirty, or to get closer to our majestic four legged comrades, we hope our four night retreat will be all that you imagined. We have awesome equestrian activities planned that we hope you will participate in at will; if not, there are some other outdoor activities or relaxing options available to you.
Starting from this moment, I want you all to consider yourselves cowgirls. The term “cowgirl” by definition is a woman who rides horses and works cattle, but to me it means so much more. A cowgirl is a woman without age, timeless in character, guts, and strength of mind. She is a woman with spirit, fortitude and a hidden, or not so hidden, rebellious side. She is reasonable and grounded, but steadfast when defending what she believes is right. She is not only a strong, independent individual, but a leader and a crutch. A cowgirl is a must-have ally, a comrade, a compassionate member of a friendship, a lover in a relationship, and a backbone of a family. Not only is a cowgirl a woman of the plains, mountains, and desert, but a woman who seeks out the open space, the quiet time, and the nature hidden in the city, suburb or town. A cowgirl is made of dirt, west wind, wine, silk, and cayenne pepper. She has the skill and courage to break colts, to manage businesses, to raise families, and to imagine the unimagined. Her passion is for life, for love, and for others, and her pride is in herself.
I hope Smith Fork Ranch can bring mothers, sisters, daughters, wives, old and new friends together to relax, enjoy, and embrace the inner cowgirl. Remember that the “cowgirl life” isn’t just a dream, but the woman that you are, and the life that you lead.
Truly,
