Come all women in search of western divine!  Sisters, friends, mothers, daughters, and independent women are invited to come experience the west with kindred spirits while on the trail, in the arena, experiencing the outdoors, or indulging in luxury!

In our private family ranch setting, women from all experience levels can find their inner cowgirl while riding, fishing, roping, being pampered and so much more in the amazing fall foliage of our secluded valley!

Cowgirl it up with these amenities and activities:

• All meals:  dinner is haute western cuisine with SFR Chefs' signature dishes.  Picnic lunches in the barn with the wranglers, and a ride to dinner by the river.  Full breakfast to get you going in the morning.
  
• Luxury accommodations in the western tradition, cabins or rooms
  
• Your own horse for the duration of your stay for daily horseback riding amidst bright yellow aspens and fall foliage of the Gunnison National Forest and West Elk Wilderness.
  
• Learn the fundaments of natural western horsemanship, the basics of ground work with your horse, tacking and un-tacking your horse, as well as basic care. 
• Whoop and holler while you learn how to team pen cattle and participate in other arena games in our 250’ arena
• Fly fish for Colorado rainbow trout, browns, and brookies in the ranch’s seven ponds or Smith Fork River that runs through the ranch.  You can even hike to fabulous fishing in the backcountry.  Guides, clinics, or one-on-one instruction is available as well as top quality fly fishing equipment for your use.
• Visit the Mountain Harvest festival in the local town of Paonia, with three live music venues and dancing.
•  Dancing and live western music on our outside dining pavilion with our musicians Rick and Helen
• Archery, Frisbee golf, horseshoes, and just hanging out in hammocks or hot tub.
• Optional:  special cowgirl facial (with prickly pear essence and other natural ingredients) and SFR custom massage.

The River Cabin overlooking the Smith Fork (with hot tub on deck) can hold 6-8 friends, and the Guest Lodge 8-10...so bring your girlfriends and family!

Special Cowgirl Retreat Rates (5 night package) - Women Only (adult):
The charge for our special Cowgirl Adventure weekend (5-Day/4-Nights) from Tuesday September 23^rd  - 28^th  is $2,250 per person. Cowgirl facial, massage, alcohol & wine, tickets to special events, 15% service charge & tax not included.

Cancellation Policy: Due to our intimate size and remote location, cancellation can affect us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. If for any reason you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly return any collected funds, less 10% of the total cost of the reservation, if a cancellation is made in writing 60 or more days prior to arrival. No refund is available for cancellation less than 60 days before arrival.
