This coming September, the most spectacularly beautiful month in the Colorado Rockies, Smith Fork Ranch will be available for a limited number of exclusive weddings from Sept 3 through September 21.

Intimate, elegant and secluded, this historic ranch is truly a romantic mountain hideaway, tucked away in the Gunnison National forest, roughly between Aspen and Telluride. With meadows, ponds, rivers and mountain vistas in every direction as far as you can see, there are no neighborhoods, no noise and no distractions.

We provide a private, very romantic domain for the bride and groom, their family and close friends for an incredible wedding weekend, or as long as they want to stay.

The flowers, gardens and grounds will be gorgeous... the Aspens turning gold... days sunny and mildly warm, with the nights just cool enough for cozy fires in the lodge and cabins.  Wonderful feather beds and sumptuous robes will be waiting for you along with a welcome basket in each room. Our horses will be here for riding on miles of trails on the ranch and in the surrounding national forest... and our three private miles of river and six ponds will be full of trout to catch and release.

With accommodations for up to 30 guests on the property and the ability to host up to 80 for the ceremony and reception, our Colorado luxury ranch is an excellent choice for an intimate, exclusive, smaller wedding.  Friends and family will enjoy the warm western hospitality and gracious, accommodating staff. Lodging off the ranch can be arranged with local bed and breakfasts, inns and motels.  Those staying on the ranch will enjoy all ranch activities and amenities including horseback riding, fly fishing and hiking.

A 50% deposit is required to hold reservation. Balance due 150 days prior to arrival.

Payment and Cancellation Policy for Wedding Package: Due to our intimate size and location, cancellations can affect us significantly. Consequently, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. If for any reason you must cancel your reservation, we will gladly return any collected funds, less 10% of the total cost of the wedding package reservation, if a cancellation is made in writing 150 or more days prior to the reserved date. No refund is available for cancellations less than 150 days before reserved date.

IMPORTANT NOTES:
• Additional nights available for exclusive use of ranch, including all meals and activities at an additional charge.
• SFR can provide a champagne and hors d' ouvres reception for up to 120 guests, at an
additional cost for guests in excess of 30.
• SFR can provide a formal sit-down dinner for up to 120 guests, at an additional cost for each guest in excess of 30.
• There is comfortable lodging within a 15-20 mile area for an additional 90 - 100 persons
• It is necessary for the Bride to hire a wedding planner/coordinator in order for SFR to host the wedding.
• All wine and alcohol must be provided by Smith fork Ranch.
