The east end of the Elk Lodge features Billiards and the ranch bar. It seems a century of happy history is contagious in this cozy nook of the ranch. Your group’s pool shark will surely feel at home.

In addition to the billiards and bar area, the great room of the Elk Lodge features a large river stone hearth, two sitting areas, a card table, and upright Steinway piano. The lodge is designed for larger indoor gatherings and meetings or as a collection of more intimate spaces. Tall tales and merrymaking encouraged.

The Elk Dining Room is adjacent to the Pavilion overlook. The two spaces can be combined for larger gatherings or separated as distinct experiences. On its own, the Elk Fireside Dining room is a warm and inviting space for a candlelit dinner by the roaring fire.

The Pavilion is the communal center of the Smith Fork Ranch. This indoor/outdoor overlook seats up to 40 - but feels great organized for 20 with a dance floor. Our guests love the al fresco dining experience complete with the sound of the rushing river.

We cannot think of a better way to start your day on the ranch than breakfast at the Bell, Smith Fork Ranch’s western diner. Pick a booth or the communal table and compare notes on the day ahead!

The Smith Fork Ranch offers multiple pastures and vistas for personalized experience design. Surround yourself with eleven thousand foot peaks, a Needle Rock overlook, or a starry night. Miles of ranch and hundreds of acres of pastures at your service.

Thanks to miles of private river, the Smith Fork Ranch offers multiple riverside destinations. These include venues proximate to Center Ranch like the picnic area pictured above, and others farther afield to be accessed by vehicle or horseback.

Wood fire cooking and ranching go hand in hand. We think the local fare of the North Fork Valley just tastes better out in the National Forest.
